APGA Tour Bonus System 2024

The APGA Tour Bonus system is a point system set up to award and distribute points to APGA Tour Players who show performance on the course on the journey to reach the PGA Tour.  This bonus system will apply to the Cisco Cup, the Farmers Fall Series, and the Jeff Dailey Award with some systematic differences between them. Points and Bonus Money will only be awarded to players who are active APGA Tour Members.

Cisco Cup 2024 – Consists of 9 events with minimum participation requirement of 7 events.  Bonus to be paid out to Top 5 finishers. (You must play The Mastercard Tour Championship to be eligible to win)

Farmers Fall Series 2024 – Consist of 3 fall series events that accumulate points for the series and the Jeff Dailey award with a 2-event participation requirement including the Finale. Bonus to be paid out to Top 4 finishers.

Jeff Dailey Award 2024 – Award for the entire APGA season with no minimum event requirement. Bonus to be paid out to Top finisher.

PGA Tour Event participation will always be an exception to any APGA event participation.

Points are distributed to those in tying positions using the same method currently used to distribute prize money when there is a tie. That is, the total points for each tying position will be averaged and that average (rounded up or down to the next whole number) will be distributed to each player in the tying position. If the event ends with a tie for the last position awarding points, for the purposes of calculation of the equal division of points, players will be deemed to receive the minimum points listed on the points list (51 points for a regular tournament, 40 points for the Tour championships).

Players participating in a PGA Tour or Korn Ferry event, (excluding Monday Qualifiers) on the official schedule which directly conflicts with an APGA Tour event playing date (same calendar week) will receive 250 points for participation and an additional 250 points for making the cut. This tournament will count as a qualifying tournament for the Cisco Cup Series (except for Tour Championships).  If the Player is disqualified or withdraws from the event, APGA Tour points and qualifying tournament status will be disallowed.

Players participating in a PGA Americas Tour event (excluding Monday Qualifiers) on the official schedule which directly conflict with an APGA Tour event playing date (same calendar week) will receive 50 points for participation and an additional 50 points for making the cut.  This tournament will NOT count as a qualifying tournament for the Cisco Cup Series.  If the Player is disqualified or withdraws from the event, APGA Tour points will be disallowed.

Players participating in qualifying events for Major Championships which directly conflict with an APGA Tour event playing date (same calendar week) will receive 100 points for qualifying for the event and 250 points for qualifying for the Major Championship.  This tournament will count as a qualifying tournament for the Cisco Cup Series (except for Tour Championships).  If the Player is disqualified or withdraws from the event, APGA Tour points and qualifying tournament status will be disallowed.

Players participating in PGA Tour/Korn Ferry Tour Q-School which directly conflict with an APGA Tour event playing date (same calendar week) will receive the following; 50 points for playing in the pre qualifier and 50 points for making it thru to first stage, 100 points for first stage and 100 points for making it thru, 150 points for second stage and 150 points for getting thru to final, 200 points for final stage and 250 points for getting thru.

APGA TOUR points will be awarded at official APGA TOUR events where official money is earned. For example, if an event is shortened to 18 holes, it is listed as an unofficial victory but awarded official money, so it would award APGA TOUR points.

If a Player is disqualified or has unjustified withdrawal from an APGA regular season event, Tour points and qualifying tournament status will be disallowed. If disqualifications or unjustified withdrawals occur during an APGA Invitational event points and prize monies will also be forfeited.

Winners of the two-man team event, will split the first and second place points for a regular full field event, awarding 465 points to each player on the first-place team.  The next team finishers will split the third and fourth place points for a regular full field event. The top 10 places and ties will be awarded points.
